Are you an active member of your community? Do you participate in church activities or ministries of your local church? If you are volunteering in your community or participate actively in your church, you will probably agree that such activities create joy – not only for us but also for others. Such involvement gives us a sense of fulfillment. Spending time with others, supporting each other, and caring for each other creates community, a vital component in our Christian walk. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us of its importance. Today we explore research findings from the Southern Asia Division (SUD) regarding this topic.

Spiritual Growth Activities in the Euro-Asia Division

The Euro-Asia Division (ESD) covers a very multicultural area in the world including the territories of Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, where Christianity has even been outlawed for periods of time and where even today people still die for their faith in Jesus. Yet, the Gospel has prevailed and permeated many hearts – changing lives forever. In Psalms 119:105 KJV, we read, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” How do Adventist church members in the ESD grow spiritually? Let’s explore together if they are taking these Bible words to heart?

The Northern Asia-Pacific Division covers the vast territory of Mongolia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, North Korea and South Korea.
